project provenance

For the needs of the interactive agency Inmedium, I created the rebranding concept for the Almed brand. I presented it on the example of a website design. Almed is a medical clinic that provides services in the field of family medicine, dentistry and aesthetic medicine. The project was not finally implemented, but I found it interesting enough that I am including it in my portfolio.




problems

The image was to show the modern character of the clinic. The clients are wealthy people who like to have professional medical care delivered without unnecessary queues. They appreciate the comfort and the feeling of receiving the highest quality services. The design was supposed to emphasize the exclusivity of the facility. Additionally, there was a need to communicate three different areas of medicine practiced in the clinic.




solutions

I started my work with an analysis of the design trends in force in 2018. Intensive colors and clear design were to ensure a modern look of the website. The logo was based on typography and was responsive, i.e. it changed into versions dedicated to visualizing individual departments of the clinic. Three pictograms constituting a variable element of the logo are further used in the project as symbols of a given specialization. The sign placed under the letter M in the main version of the logo means a plus. It is intended to imply that a clinic is more than just an ordinary clinic. In order to distinguish information about individual departments of the clinic, I used a color guide. When combined, the colors used to characterize specific specializations can create a gradient that is used in projects communicating information relating to the entire clinic.
